The idea is simple. Borrow, Play, Return. Similar to a book library, you simply borrow toys, play with them, and return them in exchange for a new selection. You can find out more about our toy library here.

The Brisbane South Toy Library is located in the community centre at 75 Old Progress Road, Richlands.
Access ample parking via the entrance on Orchard Road.

We are currently open every Thursday morning and every second Saturday morning, between the hours of 9.30 am and 11 am. As we are 100% run by volunteers, we sometimes are unable to run an open session. Please follow us on our social media pages (Facebook and/or Instagram) as we always post our most up-to-date trading hours there.

We carry lots of different brands, including popular brands you will be familiar with. Our focus is ensuring we stock quality toys with excellent play value. However, we are always eager to hear from members about their favourite toys and toy brands.

No, you don’t need to be a member at all (although you do get great member benefits if you do join).

We offer a handy and efficient Click & Collect service so that you can browse our toy library catalogue (SETLs) in the comfort of your home, and place a hold on them to pick up when we are next open. Our volunteers will put together your bag of toys so that it is ready for you to check out and take home from the toy library. Click and Click ‘sessions’ open in SETLs a couple of days before we open. When you become a member, you’ll have access to this service.
