Connect to your community through the Brisbane South Toy Library.
While supporting play through quality toys is at the core of what we do, there’s more to being a member of the Brisbane South Toy Library.
There are over 130,000 Australians using toy libraries, which have been recognised as “an essential part of communities across Australia, providing children and their families with better access to resources, social support, and community connection.”
Located in the Richlands Community Centre, some of our families stay and enjoy the playgroup hosted by Kyabra on thursday mornings (you can find more information on Kyabra’s Facebook page)
We also love seeing our members meet other families at one of our sessions or events, such as our Family Play Day. And of course, there’s the opportunity to connect more with your community by joining our team of awesome volunteers.
“Children learn through play, and toy libraries help parents and carers nurture children’s development through the critical early periods with ‘tools’ they wouldn’t otherwise have access to. They’re also community meeting places that encourage families to spend quality time playing together."

We would like to thank the following organisations and businesses in our community for their support
